Code 247 Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting coding skills and blockchain technology in African youth, with a specific focus on Nigeria. The foundation is comprised of certified tech experts from different parts of African countries who are passionate about helping young people acquire the necessary coding ideas and skills needed to thrive in today's fast-paced technological landscape.
One of the main goals of the Code 247 Foundation is to empower young people to become active participants in the growing digital economy. By providing training and resources on coding and blockchain technology, the foundation aims to equip young Africans with the skills needed to create innovative solutions to pressing challenges faced by their communities. With these skills, young people will be able to play a key role in driving economic growth and development across Africa.
In addition to providing training and resources, the Code 247 Foundation is also committed to promoting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs are a set of 17 global goals aimed at ending poverty, protecting the planet, and ensuring peace and prosperity for all. The foundation believes that by promoting these goals, it can help create a more sustainable future for young people in Africa.

Mentorship Programs

What are the basic requirements needed to join this blockchain training?
A good laptop with any (Linux, Windows, Mac) OS, devices to connect to internet, it is expected that you should have basic knowledge of computer programming and a zeal to learn a new technology like Blockchain, if you have some blockchain exposure, then no doubt it is an added advantage for you.

What is the duration of those training?
It is a 2-day training tailored to equip you with an in-depth understanding of Blockchain Technology and its implementations to enable you develop Blockchain Apps.
After the 2-day training C2F engage his community members regularly through weekly and monthly meetup where youths are further trained on fundamental technical skills on smart contract development which they can build upon over time and become professional Smart Contract Developer (SCD) in other to build a solution for Africa and the world at large. The training is delivered online/physical with a live coding and interactive sessions with experts across the globe. -
What programming language will I learn during the training?
You will be taught all the technology stack needed to build Decentralized Applications (Dapps). Some of the technology stack that you will learn for the front-end development will include HTML5/CSS3, Javascript, and React. For the back-end development, you will be taught Python, Solidity and Golang.
